YouTube to the rescue
Not much to talk about on this update. I found this video that helps explain the basics of wakesurfing. I feel with my background in wakeboarding, that getting up will not be the issue. I am just not sure were to find the "sweet spot" in the wake, or if I ever really will. I have tried surfing, and really suck at it. Cannot even understand how to catch a wave let alone stand and ride. At least I have a boat that will get me up and a rope to help me to catch me first...wake?
After watching this video, I came to the conclusion that you cannot really learn how to do this by watching videos. It is nice to get an idea by seeing how it is done, but to actually say you can do it by watching a video is simply not going to happen. No matter how much a person watches someone else do something, you will not be able to say you can do it unless you get out and try it. All this video really does is make people want to go out and try it, if you are interested in it. I appreciate the commentary and telling exactly what to do, and I cannot wait to be able to get out and try.
Enjoy the video.
