As an avid wakeboarder for the last 15-20 years, I feel wakesurfing would be a good transition sport. It's is not as rough on the body as wakeboarding, plus I have the resources to learn it. Only questions, is February too cold to learn?
Questions (not all questions are strong inquiry questions):
What speed is the best for wakesurfing?
What kind of board?
How far back, or forward?
How should I distribute my weight?
How much weight to put in the boat?
Can I afford this?
Does the driver make a difference?
If I am able to go without the rope, how quickly should I learn a trick?
Fins or no fins?
Does the shape of the board make a difference?
Is it too cold to do this? Will a wet/dry suit screw with the learning?
How deep does the body of water have to be?
